The customers really wanted two tables for this loft living room. On the one hand, they wanted a traditional style, square coffee table. When the grandkids are there they wanted it to be on wheels so it could easily move to another room when this room became the play room. The solution was to design a table that inverts. In this view it is styled to be a conventional square coffee table. Hidden under the removable top are casters that come into play when the table transforms into the down position shown in the next photo. The top registers on the bottoms of the traditional legs, the drawer inverts and the casters swing into position for ease of movement. Slick and functional!
