Small touches abound.  Here you can see that the panels and sliding doors forego the conventional rail, stile and panel look and instead feature unique hidden reinforced miter joints that look like fine picture frames surrounding the Oregon big leaf maple panels.  While miter joints are normally too weak for use in fine furniture, the hidden reinforcements I used here make them very strong indeed.  You can read about this technique on the "How to...." page.
