Blanket or hope chests offer great storage space in your bedroom or in a guest room.  They can sit at the foot of the bed or along a wall where you can sit on them as you dress.  What is inside is just as important at the outside.  I build blanket chests with a removable bottom that can be crafted in your choice of Port Orford cedar for a rich, psice like smell, or the more traditional red aromatic cedar, or from other solid woods that complete the piece without imparting a smell.
